I am in love with these two boxes! The colours, the die cut shapes, the everything!

Not my usual style of crafting at all, it’s a much longer video than I usually make at almost 20 minutes, but I think the end result is worth it, even with the butterfly ‘issues’ that I had.

I’ve since discovered that yes it was my plate that was causing issue. It had bowed so badly that it wasn’t allowing a neat and clean cut. I’ve since swapped the ‘sandwich’ around now and it’s cutting absolutely beautifully as it was just a couple of days before. I totally blame my Mum and her request for numerous gold and glittery butterflies for her tree!!!! I’m kidding! We had a great time!

But I am thrilled with how the blue colours worked out. I wasn’t sure, I never ‘practice’ a colour combination before I film it, but the mixture of Tempting Turquoise and Soft Sky was spot on.

I hope you like it, and that you bring out your Thinlits and Framelits too!

I flatten my acrylic plates by putting them in the oven. Preheat oven to 325. Wrap plates individually in aluminum foil and place on a bake pan with a heavy pyrex or casserole dish on top. Heat for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Hope this is helpful.
