Softly Falling Wonderful Starlight

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Softly Falling Wonderful Starlight

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Softly Falling Wonderful Starlight

Did you see what I did there? I got both dies and the embossing folder named in the title! Yes, I’ve used the Softly Falling embossing folder, the Wonderful Wreath die set for the word and the Starlight framelits as the star (pun totally intended) of the show… I love to try and be fun with my titles and a little play on names works for me!

Aside from my attempts at wit and humour, I love this card. The bling, the shine, the glitter and sparkle. It’s all very festive isn’t it! Although a girl can never have too much sparkle at any time of the year….

My Soft Sky base is off set to the left so I could get that pretty ribbon on there. A little quirky, I admit and that’s what made me put the silver thread across the top, although I don’t know that I needed it after all, but it went on before the die cuts did and it was well and truly glued in place by the time I got those on!

That pretty snow is created by using the Softly Falling embossing folder on vellum and while vellum is notoriously hard for adhering invisibly, the snow at the top is dense enough that you can’t notice anything!

Finally, the glittery Starlight star is using our gorgeous glimmer paper, but the Joy from the Wonderful Wreath set has had it’s glitter added with a big old splodge of Wink of Stella.

Bling and shiny and I love it!

Beautiful card, my favorite holiday colors….blue, white, and silver. You do have a black back ground that really
    makes the card pop!!
