Colour Your World Blog Hop – Falling Flowers & Petals

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Colour Your World Blog Hop – Falling Flowers & Petals

Happy January Blog Hoppers!

this month, the lovely Alison chose a wintery theme for us to work with. Yes, as ever, it was a challenge for me, but I got all the colours in there!

But is it me, or does that butterfly look really retro in Peekaboo Peach???

This isn’t my favourite colour combination, I could have done without that peach, but I think I got it to work….

I love the Falling in Love suite, so I pulled out the Embossing Folder for some detail in the background, and then because I was in one of ‘those’ moods, I decided to go for Falling Flowers to match the Falling Petals. Yes, I get like that a bit sometimes….!!!

I’m not sure if Papillon Potpourri goes or not, but I do like the finished result. Perhaps the butterfly in a different shade??

Don’t forget to hop on round the rest of the team.

Sophie’s a genius! Absolutely brilliant. These colours don’t work. Hard & cold together. She’s separated & softened them. Fab!!

  2. Nice card!

  3. Lynda Arnall says:

My favourite card was made by Patsy Waggoner.
    Really pretty x

  4. Love how you added the color to the edges of the butterfly makes it stunning. For me I love peach and any form and the color I had trouble with was the Smokey Slate. Great Hop this week.

  5. Simply stunning card Sam x

  6. Peach is such a tricky colour for me – looks lovely on this butterfly though

  7. Sharlene Meyer says:

Lovely card Sam – retro butterfly and all! 🙂
