Cool Treats Yankee Candle Jar Box

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Cool Treats Yankee Candle Jar Box

Happy Friday everyone! Anyone else desperate for a bit of heat and warmth in their lives? My Australasian friends, please, send us some of your weather!!! It’s too chilly here!

My project today is inspired by summer and mostly because of a pair of candles that Chris bought me for Christmas. He bought me some wintery ones, but I fell on these 2 that are summery fragranced. I think he’s a smart guy because he realised that once the Christmas Tree was down, I wasn’t likely to light a candle scented ‘Christmas Eve’ so he’d forethought this out and bought me non seasonal fragrances. (I can ask him if he does training courses if any other wives need gift advice for their chaps!)

And so with these 2 scents of summer in my mind, I decided to use the Cool Treats collection as my focal point. I can’t say that I’m gasping for an ice cream right now, but you know, give it some time and I’ll be after once….

I love these papers – 2 of them are glossy embossed and I used one of them on my project. The other is the strawberry paper. I have plans for that one too!

Have a super Friday everyone, wherever you are and whatever the weather!

I agree Sam. Much too cold here. My friends in Australia are saying they are staying in because it’s so hot. I am staying in because it’s so cold.

    Hi Sam,
I am another of your fans from Perth in Western Australia and yes it has been HOT here recently 38-42 which is way better than the zero and minus temperatures you have had in the UK.. I just returned from a holiday there and it was really cold and even harder was the short daylight.
Never mind it will warm up (slightly) soon.

Love your cards and projects. I check your blog out every evening before bed. I really enjoy your videos, so easy to follow and your cheery humour makes my day. Keep up the good work and I hope you sell your house soon. Or have you already sold it .

  10. Wonderful little box, I see this one in my future. Thanks for another great video.
