Pootles SpringWatch 2017 Swan Lake Watercolouring

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles SpringWatch 2017 Swan Lake Watercolouring

SpringWatch Giveaway for today – Swan Lake Stamp Set – details on how to enter at the bottom

How pretty is this card? I loved making it and knew that I had to share just how easy it is to watercolour, or in fact, colour in, with the Watercolour Pencils and a Blender Pen. However, in true Pootles Style, I made an error that I then fixed. I don’t believe in editing my errors, so when I made a spectacular one with the final bit of stamping, I think I redeemed myself with a pretty nifty fix!

I love the simplicity of stamping, blobbing a messy bit of colour on, then smoothing it out. I’m not a quick crafter for nothing! And how easy is the Stamp a ma Jig to use? There are other stamping aids out there, but for they’re more for mass producing cards rather than the speed and ease that this provides when you’re stamping just one card.

The wink of stella on the beautiful swan isn’t easy to photograph, so I’ve dulled down my photo so you can see it. It’s perfect to make her appear set off from the card.

I hope you like my project, and don’t forget to enter today’s giveaway!

S xx
