An Update…. You have not been hacked!

Hey everyone, so following yesterday’s peculiar blog post take over, I wanted to reassure you all with some information.

Firstly, the blog post that was attacked was not infected in anyway. Nor was my blog

The blog post originally published correctly at the usual time of 7am

My automatic email service normally delivers emails to all of you that subscribe, just a few minutes later.

Yesterday, the blog post published on my blog correctly and autoshared to my facebook page correctly

However, the email didn’t get delivered until nearly an hour later, by which time the blog post hack had happened. This resulted in you all receiving an email saying ‘hacked by….’

I spent hours yesterday morning sorting it out and thanking everyone who’d got in touch. My phone started going bonkers from about 7.30am. so thank you to everyone who phoned me, emailed, sent me messages and PMs. Knowing you’re looking out for me is so reassuring.

I do however want to let you know that the hack did not happen within my blog, so it hasn’t been affected or infected. However, just to be on the safe side, I have ramped up security!

I also want to let you know that you haven’t been infected at all, and I do understand that receiving and email saying ‘hacked by…’ is quite worrying. So please be reassured that you are perfectly safe!

So normal service has resumed today, and if you didn’t get to see yesterday’s post which I rewrote and republished, please do take a look HERE.

As always, with humble thanks and gratitude,

Sam x
