Pootles SpringWatch 2017 Watercolouring with Heat Embossing

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles SpringWatch 2017 Watercolouring with Heat Embossing

SpringWatch Giveaway for today – Builder Birdcage Stamp Set – details on how to enter at the bottom

I love making my video tutorials for you. I adore creating projects to share. I am endlessly delighted when you laugh along with me when I mess up. And today I did. Not hugely badly, but my beautiful original sample decided to jump up on it’s own and throw itself on my open ink pad. Yes, all by itself without any intervention by me whatsoever….

Yea, right…. Ok, so I caught the edge of it and flipped it up and over onto my ink pad.

Nooooooo!

Most errors that inadvertently happen, I choose to fix on camera. I believe it’s only right that I show you how I fix my mess ups. Not so much this one. I can’t think what I could do to fix it. Other than hide it under the other one for the photos!

Sadly yes, it has made friends with my recycling bin. But it was pretty.

Anyway though, I love the other card too with the stunning pinks that have somehow managed to make the copper embossing look rose gold! It’s like that black/blue or white/gold dress…. do you see copper or do you see rose gold?

Have a super day everyone, and do not flip your cards onto your open ink pads!

S xx

You remind of a beautiful card I made recently with lots of sponging, only I didn’t realise my card base was underneath it all. It was pretty but no longer suitable for that card. I had to cut another one. We all do it at some stage, some of us just do it more often.
Well done for sharing with us. I love the pretty dark pink one ..
    Cheers and thanks for sharing.
