Pootles SpringWatch 2017 Hanging Lift Me Up Chocolate Treats

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles SpringWatch 2017 Hanging Lift Me Up Chocolate Treats

SpringWatch Giveaway for today – Up & Away  Thinlits – details on how to enter at the bottom

I love to make a simple project to pretty up a treat for my boys, and for those of you who are new to me, every Friday in our house is Treat Friday. It means that my 4 small boys don’t ask for treats other days. It doesn’t mean I don’t surprise them with a bonus goodie, but they (and many of you!) know that Friday is a treat day!

And this week I have 4 chocolate bars. I picked them up as a bargain pack of 4 from my local Tesco, but I know you can buy them this size on their own too.

Plus because these are for my boys, I wanted a sort of ‘gender neutral’ gift for them! I pretty much always gift them the things I make to show you, but the eldest is not quite so enamoured with the more pretty projects…. And we all have chaps to gift to, so why not something like this!

I love the free paper pack, Carried Away, and love how it pairs with the Up & Away Thinlits. In fact, I love it all! It’s such a great paper suite isn’t it?

And what do you think to the slider mechanism? The weight of the chocolate bar is what keeps it closed while you hang it up. Totally scientific!!!

Have a good Friday and I think you deserve a treat too!
