Places You’ll Go and Tree Builder Flowers

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Places You’ll Go and Tree Builder Flowers

How delicate and pretty is this card? I loved using the tiny flowers from the Tree Builder on Sunday’s card, so while I had it out on my desk, I put together this card.

Now the Places You’ll Go stamp set is one that I think quite a few of us have overlooked. I know I did in the beginning. Globes and travel are not something I’d normally choose to stamp with, but I love the sentiments and phrases and adore the wreath I’ve used here today.

So another simple card, but one that’s so pretty with the delicate flowers (3 of each!) that use up scraps!

When I work with embellishments or decorations, I work to a rule of odd numbers – 3, 5, 7 etc and on this card I’ve got 9 flowers in total, 3 of each colour and I’ve got 3 clusters on the wreath and then 3 down on the bottom corner.

There’s something about even numbers that feel a bit jarring on the eyes, whether it’s decorations on a card or ornaments on a shelf! Always work in odd numbers!

Have a great day!
