Single Colour Stamping with Touches of Texture

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Single Colour Stamping with Touches of Texture

As you all know, I’m a simple stamper. I don’t like to over-complicate my stamping by bringing in lots of different products. I also like to show you that sometimes all you need is one stamp set to make a gorgeous card.

Today I’ve gone with one stamp set for the main focus and the super versatile Blooms and Wishes for the sentiment, but I switched my simplicity over to the colour. Yes, there is just one colour on my card!

Cherry Cobbler is my absolute favourite colour in our catalogue and while it does feel a bit more ‘wintry/autumnal’ than Spring, I also like to kick out the rule book and use any colour that takes my fancy!

It’s all those textures in that Touches of Texture (!) stamp set that makes one ink colour look so different an with just a swirl of Wink of Stella over the flowers, you can add a little dimension too.

So simple is very much me, but I like to show that you don’t need much to make beautiful things.
