Sunshine Wishes Watercoloured Rainbow

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Sunshine Wishes Watercoloured Rainbow

I am absolutely in love with this card.

When I first started to paint my watercolour effect, I hoped that there would be a lovely rainbow effect, but until I set it up on the Basic Black background, I’d got no idea how striking it would be and how much it would stand out.

This was a classic exercise in using 3 primary colours. I took our Real Red and watercoloured a blob on the left of a piece of watercolour paper. Then some Pacific Point got blobbed on the left, with Daffodil Delight in the middle. Then I took a new clean Aqua Painter and started blending the red into the yellow, cleaned it up and then did the same with the blue into the yellow.

The effect even before I die cut it with the Sunshine word from Sunshine Wishes was stunning, but I carried on with my plan!

So very simple, yet I think, very striking.

What do you think of today’s rainbow??
