Wedding Bombs using Botanical Builder Dies

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Wedding Bombs using Botanical Builder Dies

So we have an impromptu theme to this week’s trio of videos. As I was making and creating back in March for this month, I found that I’d somehow designed 3 projects that would make great wedding favours. They cover small, medium and larger budgets. From memory of my own wedding, there does become a kind of competition with brides who are all getting married at similar times – trying almost to do ‘one better’ than all their peers. When I got married, it was the year of the lottery ticket at £1 a go. With 100+ guests, that was a lot of money to spend 15 years ago. To be honest, it’s a lot of money still now….. We were on the budget end of the scale and rather than create individual favours, we put bowls of traditional sugared almonds on each table. The ultimate budget favour.

However, I’m now a papercrafter and the 3 I’m sharing this week will hopefully cover a variety of budgets!

Today’s one is made using Bomb Cosmetics bath bombs at a bulk pack of just 6 where I split them down. They definitely do other boxes (mine cost £9.99 but you can get them for £8), so the ‘split price’ would be better still! But these work out at around £1.65 per bomb. Not bad, not a huge amount. Kinda depends on your guests!

I’ve popped mine into our clear treat boxes (these work out at 42p each) and decorated them up.

The Botanical Builder Die is a super versatile die set, so while it does have an initial cost to it, once you’ve got it, you keep it!

And of course, the cardstock cost. My rough maths work this out to be about 5p per box so when you add it all up, you’ve got favours for around £2.10 per person. Not bad!!!

I hope you like them! I certainly do!

What a lovely way to express your love for your bridal party or just love ones…tfs

  4. Having you plan the bridal party must have really added to the whole wedding experience for the Bride. And thank you for using the Botanical Builder dies. When I first got mine, I used them a bit, but they kinda’ got put away as other stamp and die sets came out. Now I see they are on the retiring list, so I will be paying special attention to the ideas bloggers will be sharing with us in the coming weeks.

  5. What a lovely little favor that would be. thanks for sharing it with us.
