Many Blues on Touches of Texture

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Many Blues on Touches of Texture

Happy Saturday everyone!

It’s the weekend! What are you doing? Going anywhere nice? Doing anything fun? Perhaps you’re crafting….?

I’ve got a sweet little card here today, I wanted to show off some of our blue inks. Blue isn’t a colour that I grab all that often as a dominant colour. It tends to be the accent, but I was using Tempting Turquoise recently and thought how pretty it was and a bit overlooked.

So out came Touches of Texture (it’s a brilliant stamp set for this kind of card, have a Search on my blog, you’ll see!) and an array of blue inks.

I’ve got Marina Mist, Dapper Denim and Tempting Turquoise on show with a trio of Dapper Denim Enamel Shapes and the same colour as the outline cardstock mat.

This kind of card works well with any trio of colour tones – pinks, greens, blues, oranges perhaps?

And it’s quick! I love a quick beautiful card!

    so pretty Sam.

  3. I’m not that fond of blue either and most of the time it is overwhelming.
But in this card it is just right.
I love it, and yes it would look great in all colour tones.
