Perfectly Wrapped Layering Circle and Stitched Framelits. Watercoloured…

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Perfectly Wrapped Layering Circle and Stitched Framelits. Watercoloured…

Ah the simplicity of watercolouring that makes a card so stunning. Peekaboo peach is one of those colours that you either love or hate. Personally I love it and I love how it ‘sits’ so well with other colours. I’ve got Cucumber Crush here (I know, it’s gone, I’m sorry) and Daffodil Delight. And I think any ‘lime’ green would work alongside it really well.

However, my card is actually less about the watercolouring and more about how the Layering Circles and Stitched Framelits work so well together.

My black and white layers are the stitched one and the silver is the layering one.

Clever huh? Stampin’ Up! makes life so easy!

So what to stamp, well, a bit of Perfectly Wrapped ‘happy day’ works because this layering technique made me happy!

What makes you happy? Crafting? Stamping? Are you into watercolouring too?

  1. Wished I could watercolor . . . never is too late!! During my holidays in Peru I will ask my nephew who has studied art to teach me the “how(s)” of watercoloring.
    Simple is beauty!

  2. Lisa Sylvia says:

Very cute card, I like to watercolor also, I love that it doesn’t have to be perfect 🙂

  3. Debbie Wicklund says:

I just did some watercolor backgrounds the last couple of days & used the Beautiful You stamp set on them. That was my first attempt & I really enjoyed it. I will try your idea here too.

  4. I love the happy day sentiment!
