Picnic Basket using Stampin’ Up! Delightful Daisy DSP & Punch

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Picnic Basket using Delightful Daisy DSP & Punch

Oh this little basket is just too cute!

It uses just one sheet of paper, but it’s the way that it’s cut and folded that gives you the 2-tone paper look.

One of the best things about what I do is getting the chance to cut and score and just play with paper. I make the mistakes and errors so that you don’t have to, and this was a bit of trial and error before I got it right. I had the papers bending the wrong way at first, but a bit of manipulation and I got there!

Although perhaps cutting the DSP for the video the wrong way around wasn’t the best idea… oops, too late! But it seems to work anyway!

And how gorgeous is our beautiful Daisy on the front? I’ve bent her in both directions to give you a couple of looks, and I think either works well.

This kind of bag is one that doesn’t need much more than the punch and the library clip, and so I decided to leave it as it was. But how cute would they look as favours for a summery garden party?

Paper 8 x 6″ (20 x 15cm)

Score on the LONG side at 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7″ (2.5, 5, 7.5, 12.5, 15, 17.5cm)

Score on the SHORT side at 2, 4″ (5, 10cm)

  7. Jenny Pierce says:

I tried making this but when I put it together (corner to scored line) I have about 1/4″ too much – they don’t line up? I have measured 3 times and I have not made a mistake – it just doesn’t work for me. Are some of the measurements in inches not correct?

  8. Love it! Try the daisy with one up and one down-I did this with sunflowers and they looked very real!

  9. So very sweet. I might try this with a little larger piece of paper. Would be adorable for goodies for our next crop. Thanks!
