Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Swaps 2017

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Swaps 2017

I thoroughly enjoyed making these swaps for the recent Incentive Trip I went on. It’s been a couple of weeks since I returned, but I decided that jet lag and small children needing me as soon as I got home would mean that it would be a week or so until I got a chance to take photos of the swaps I received, so I’m dedicating some of the days in August to all things swap!

We make 26 each which we hand to the events team on the first day of the trip. They keep 1 for their display boards, then randomly select 25 for us that we go and collect at the end of the week. I love it as I come home with 25 card ideas that I can use and share!

These are the ones that I took out with me. They’re clean and simple, very me!

The 2 stamp sets I used are Orange Blossom and Touches of Texture. I wanted the wording from the Orange Blossom set and loved some of the smaller flowers, and decided to add a little more texture with that amazing Touches of Texture stamp set, which I happened to receive as a gift on last year’s incentive trip! It kind of felt full circle!

My colours are Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, Powder Pink, Pink Pirouette and Sweet Sugarplum.

I’m not sure how well it’s showing up, but there’s Wink of Stella glitter on the trio of flowers on the top right and also on the large flower on the bottom left. It adds a nice touch!

I had to add more sparkle though, so I went through 2 and a half packs of Glitter Enamel Shapes in the Berry Burst colourway. So some cards have the paler colours, some have the darker, and some have a mixture of pale and dark.

But all lovely I think and I hope well received!

Watch this space over the coming weeks for photos of the swaps that I received

Pootles’ Picks Shopping Gifts

Everyone who shops with me gets a handmade card and gift in the post. Sometimes the gift is a handcrafted item, sometimes it’s a product share, sometimes it’s something else entirely!

And every person gets that, regardless of how large or small your order is. I am grateful to everyone who shops with me.

I do however also have a Hostess Code and always share the goodies out amongst everyone who uses it. This month, I’m trialling something different.

  • Spend over £50/€65 and receive the divine Metallic Edge Ribbon in Silver worth £6.25/€8.50
  • Spend over £100/€135 and receive the utterly beautiful Background Bits stamp set worth £19/€25
  • If you’d still like to use the code and be part of the collective, but your order is under £50, please feel free to use it and I’ll make sure to pop a little something extra in your parcel!
  • If your order is over £150/€200 please do not use the code as you will be your own Hostess and get your own rewards to spend!

  1. Sam,
Hope you had a nice trip, so glad your back. Love those color choices. You alwzys make such lovely borders on your cards. How do you keep them even and straight, especially when they are so tiny? I just strugle with that so much.
