Whole Lot Of Lovely Customer Thank You Cards and and Update

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Whole Lot Of Lovely Customer Thank You Cards and and Update

How pretty are all these cards?  These are a selection of the cards that should hopefully be dropping through everyone’s doors this weekend, and I had a lot of fun making them.

I am totally in love with the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP. It’s so pretty and yet striking at the same time. Pretty to me is usually more gentle and soft, but there are parts of this paper pack that are strong and bold. Hence the dual imagery I get from it!

I wanted to keep the cards simple and stylish, leaving the paper to be the star of the show, and with the single stamping from Lots of Love, I think I got them just right.

Pootles Picks – the Details…

I do also have a little update for you. Since I became a demonstrator, I’ve always sent out thank you cards and handmade gifts to every person who shops with me. I’ve never set a minimum order amount, and I’ve always been grateful for every order that comes through my online shop.

This will never change. Ever. Ever, ever, ever.

I’ve also for the last 3+ years used the Hostess Code to gift to everyone who uses it. I see it as a sort of co-operative club so to speak!

This will also Never Change. I will always gift the hostess code rewards to everyone who uses it.

What I’ve done previously is just chosen a gift and everyone has had the same, and it’s always been a surprise. But I’ve decided to switch it around a little and we now have Pootles Picks Shopping Gifts with a couple of ‘tiers’ to it. It means that you get to see in advance what your free gift will be, and it also means that I can push the top gift that bit higher than I am usually able to.  A nice place to be I think!

So for the eagle eyed among us, you’ll have perhaps noticed it at the bottom of my blog posts since Tuesday 1st, but it will be repeated each post so that you can never forget. And each month the gifts will change!

So here goes –

Pootles’ Picks Shopping Gifts

Everyone who shops with me gets a handmade card and gift in the post. Sometimes the gift is a handcrafted item, sometimes it’s a product share, sometimes it’s something else entirely!

And every person gets that, regardless of how large or small your order is. I am grateful to everyone who shops with me.

I do however also have a Hostess Code and always share the goodies out amongst everyone who uses it. This month, I’m trialling something different.

  • Spend over £50/€65 and receive the divine Metallic Edge Ribbon in Silver worth £6.25/€8.50
  • Spend over £100/€135 and receive the utterly beautiful Background Bits stamp set worth £19/€25
  • If you’d still like to use the code and be part of the collective, but your order is under £50, please feel free to use it and I’ll make sure to pop a little something extra in your parcel!
  • If your order is over £150/€200 please do not use the code as you will be your own Hostess and get your own rewards to spend!

For me the Hostess code is like a ticket in a raffle. I always hope that it will be a Hostess exclusive item, because as a non-demonstrator I am never going to get the opportunity to buy any of these things, and there’s never going to be a booby prize!

  2. I think I prefer the old way, where you don’t know what present you get.
That way it feels like Christmas every time my package arrives. 🙂

But, this is your party so you make the rules. :*

    Love the stamp set btw.

Just received my gold parcel – the poor postie was running through the sudden deluge to put it through the letterbox. I absolutely love all the items, thank you so much.
I’m just making up my mind about my order for August to use my voucher and to indulge in some other bits of loveliness.
I think your idea is well worth a try although, like others, I do love the surprise parcel.

  7. I think I prefer the old way too. I’ve received a couple of gifts and am grateful to have done so but being a surprise made it special.
