Painted Harvest Wreath and Cat + Leaf Punch

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Painted Harvest Wreath and Cat + Leaf Punch

If you’re anything like me, you sometimes get a case of the ‘overwhelms’ when you have new products in hand. So much stuff and your creative ideas exit the building. This happened to me last month and it was mostly because my pre order of holiday products had arrived, but I had no time to look at them, until pretty much the end of the month.

By then though, I was on a game of catch up to make sure I had projects to share and that was it. Game over. Creative ideas went out of the window.

So when that happens, I take myself back to the catalogue and look around for ideas from that. And today’s project is a fine example of it.

On page 48 of the Autumn/Winter catalogue is a great showcase of lots of different ideas, including a framed picture of an Autumnal wreath using Painted Harvest.

I loved it, so taking the idea from that, switching up a colour and replacing the leafy green detailing with a grey cat (my beautiful Fennel is a grey cat, she’s a blue Burmese), I had a card made.

I did add in a couple of Early Espresso Leaf Punch outs behind the cat with a few loops of Linen Thread. I love it! And the pretty kitty has been sponged around the edges. A Burmese cat is one colour with darker tones on the ‘points’ (the ears, paws, nose etc), so I went along with that too!

So I hope you like my Fennel card!
