Birthday Memories Milk Carton Quick Gift

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Birthday Memories Milk Carton Quick Gift

Is there anyone else out there who forgets to remember to make gift boxes for their small offspring? Or more specifically, the child forgets to tell you they need a gift and you’re left rushing around your craft room trying to make something special?

That would be me.

So I’ve got that quick project for you right here and ready to go!

I long ago stopped playing the ‘who can give the most elaborate gift’ at children’s birthday parties and while I could give my son a £5 gift card in a card to give to his friend, that child is going to be somewhat more appreciative of a box ful of chocolates. Trust me, I’ve been there and seen it and done it. It may look a small gift, but you can get a lot of sweeties and chocolates in there!

And the paper is perfect to be tailored to the recipient.

The first time I did this, it was for one of Oliver’s friends and it was a little girl. Having a house of boys, I wasn’t so au fait with what was cool with the female kiddies, so I made her a really pretty floral box with some pink wrapped sweeties inside. Her Mum was over the moon with the personalised gift and said it was the prettiest there.

Anyway, it’s easy to make, a simple 2 x 2″ (5 x 5cm) cube and decorate at your pleasure!

Enjoy the video, and the giggles when I get the stamping unexpectedly spot on…!

Those are the cutest. I’m sure the recipient will feel very special.

I love your videos and being able to get the dimensions. The one thing that I wish you included on this page would be a diagram of the cardstock that show which areas to cut.

I made these for my family for put in Halloween treats. They turned out so incredibly cute.

  4. Adorable little project. So quick and easy, would be so simple to make for a party favor also. Thanks!
