A Quilted Christmas without any Quilts

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – A Quilted Christmas without any Quilts

Hands up who else has a lot of Christmas Cards to make. I know it’s not just me. Hands up who else is getting low on time? I know, it’s only October 1st, but seriously, whoooosh, time is going to race by!

I like to make detailed cards with stamping and punching and whatnot, but I’m not averse to taking a quick route now and again, particularly when Stampin’ Up! provides us with pretty papers, great fonts and amazing embellishments.

So this is what my card is showing off today. Or rather, cards because I decided to show you 2 options for this layout.

I’ve taken everything from the Quilted Christmas suite, but not used the dies or the quilted look. Kinda cute right?

My Garden Green is the more basic – quick and get it done – card, but the red has the extra with the mixture of colours and just that tiny addition of 2 enamel shapes. Don’t they look different?

So, if you’re like me and thinking of all the cards you need to make, see what you can do with a superstar embellishment and a gorgeous patterned paper…
