Let’s Grow and a Home Office Visit

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Let’s Grow and a Home Office Visit

I have a slightly different post for you today. As some of you know, I recently spent a couple of days out in Germany at our European Offices and warehouse there, but I thought I’d give you a little background as to how I got to be there.

I run a programme with my upline called Let’s Grow. We teach members of our direct team and coach them on all the things they need to promote to Silver Elite.

Along with all the skills they need, taught over a year long programme, there is a reward at the end, even more than the title and accolade and leadership that Silver Elite brings. And this year we were able to treat them to dinner and a night at a Hilton Hotel in Germany along with a tour around the warehouse and a visit to the European Offices.

Lovely food and drink the first evening in our gorgeous luxury hotel and then a full day where we went into the warehouse to see how our products are brought in and sorted, then picked and packed.  There’s a robot trolley that automatically stops at the stamps and inks that are needed to be packed. It was fascinating watching how it all worked!

The shipment of back ordered Fast Fuse adhesives had clearly arrived just before we got there as there was an enormous palette of them!

We were a bit cheeky and allowed to leave a note on the outside of some of the parcels. I spotted about 6 that were destined for my team members, and also spotted one that was on it’s way to my friend Fanny who’s an Austrian demonstrator. She got her parcel the following day and said that our notes on the outside made her day!

After that, we were whisked off to the European Offices to meet the finance team, the demonstrator support team and also the Demonstrator Developement Managers for The Netherlands and France along with the UK Manager who joined us on the warehouse tour.

It was a lovely lunch spread that they put on for us, then the European Product Manager, Charlotte Harding treated us to a project that she’d created specially for us. It was so lovely to craft to someone else’s instructions for a change!

The wallet opens up to show 3 little pouches and we made tags and goal charts to go in them along with space to write notes and motivational thoughts.

Paula spent some time talking to our teams regarding Leadership and invited us all to come up with our own ‘quote’ regarding leadership. This is mine.

Leadership is not a ‘job’,

it’s an opportunity to inspire and encourage.

Don’t waste it by dictating,

walk the path by living it

I’m so proud of my 2 team members, Sophie Prestrelle from France and Amanda Charlesworth from the UK, who earned the trip, and super excited to spend time with Katy Freeman from Michelle’s team who also earned the trip.

This coming year, we have a brand new group who are aiming to achieve their titles and get a lovely reward at the end of it!

I leave you now, and hope that they all know how loved they are and it’s a pleasure to support them along their journey and path.

S x
