Every Good Wish with Glossy Holly Berries

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Every Good Wish with Glossy Holly Berries

I’m a huge fan of the watercolour look and it’s been something that’s grown on me over the last couple of years. Before, I was never quite brave enough to take out the brush and paint, but now I love it. However, I’m aware that there are those out there who are like I used to be and prefer to stamp then get water everywhere. Seriously, I had visions of flooding my desk or creating a tidal wave of devestation with an ink pad….

But we have this beautiful stamp set, Every Good Wish, that’s perfect for the watery challenged… Stamp and go! Job done!

That’s the main part of the card, to be fair it wasn’t quite as simple as stamp and go, there’s layering and ribbons going on, but those adorable holly berries were created by using Garden Green and Real Red stampin’ write markers to get the 2 colour look and then teeny tiny minute blobs of fine-tipped glue on the berries.

They didn’t take as long to dry as I thought they might, but I left them a few hours, just in case!

While it’s not massively clear in the main photo, I hope the smaller ones gives you an idea.

So is anyone else out there watercolour averse….?
