Double Faceted Easy Box Tutorial using Stampin’ Up! Supplies

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Double Faceted Easy Box Tutorial

Happy Wednesday! Coffee anyone?

This is a funny old project. There’s a bit of a back story to it…..

I was fiddling about with some cardstock and popping in random lines to see what would happen if I manipulated them in a certain way. This is how I do a lot of my designing and get endless pleasure just experimenting to see ‘what might happen if I did XYZ’ and seeing the end result.

Well this was exactly the case when I came up with this box a few weeks ago, so I popped a ‘work in progress’ photo on my facebook page. One of my team members, Angeline from Intatwyne Design sent me a PM to say she’d come up with a similar project and had taken inspiration from my Faceted Box tutorial of a few years ago. It was at that point that I realised why my brown box looked so familiar! It was a double height of my original project.

Too funny!

So there’s my little back story, and while I did ask on my page for ideas of how to decorate the box, I went with Coffee Break tags on the first, but kept the second one simpler, leaving the beautiful Foil Frenzy to do all the work.

Rather stylish I think!
