Wood Words Pinked and Floral!

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Wood Words Pinked and Floral!

It’s pink and chocolate and pretty and floral!

This card has really made me happy!

I’m not a one for stamping my own patterned paper that often these days, but I was staring at my paper racks and pondering adding pinks to a netural and it all started to fall into place.

The Wood Words stamp set is one that I use mostly for the flowers and the little words and it’s super pretty with those lovely little flowers scattered everywhere.

I pulled in Chocolate Chip cardstock and ink for this – I wanted to make sure the ink showed up the same colour on all the card colours – and I think it’s worked rather well.

I felt it needed a little something else at the bottom so I grabbed my now much beloved Blossom Builder Punch to get the trio of flowers at the bottom and a little copper trim for the bow.

I’m so happy as I do love a DSP layered card and having my own one that’s hand-stamped-by-me makes me even happier!

  1. The floral stamp makes a lovely background paper. Love the brown and pink colors together too.
