Pootles Advent Countdown 2017 #13 Candy Cane Customer Gift Treats

Pootles Advent Countdown 2017 #13 Candy Cane Customer Gift Treats

Oh these are just too cute!

I love sending out little gifts and treats to everyone who chooses to shop through me and always send a goodie pack each month with a card (you’ll see that tomorrow!) and a handmade gift.

And this is what I made this month!

With Christmas coming up and wanting to get ahead with little treats, particularly for small visitors who always come calling, I wanted to send something that everyone could enjoy. And yes, there are 2 candy canes in there for a very good reason – one to eat and one to share. At least, that’s the idea and theory!

I spend the whole month making gifts and cards and often share photos on my facebook page, and thought you might like to see me in the ‘bow tying’ stage… I tied all 400 candy canes over 2 evenings while watching Liar (that series was great!) and by the end, I was a master at the bow thing. Sadly it was short lived as I now am back to usual of inability to tie a bow on camera….

A few people have asked how to attach the felt shapes and for me, tombow is my glue of choice. Hot glue and I aren’t friends anyway, so that was a no-no, but I did leave them to dry overnight and haven’t seen any issues and none fell off at all!

So I hope you like this idea, and that everyone who’s received theirs has enjoyed them too!

Paper – 6 x 6″ (15 x 15cm)

Punch and Score on the FIRST side at 2-1/2″ (6.5cm) then use that as a guide to punch and score on just 2 more sides. DO punch the 4th side, but DON’T score it!

I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to get free product! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!) Learn more HERE. If your order is over £150, please do not use this code as You become the hostess and get the Rewards!
