Easy No Glue Clutch Bag Tutorial with Whole Lot of Lovely

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Easy No Glue Clutch Bag Tutorial with Whole Lot of Lovely

ONLINE EXTRAVAGANZA – Week Long Sale November 20th to November 26th. Flash Sale coming on November 27th

Well if you know me, you know that I love to make a project that doesn’t need adhesive. The whole debate of red liner tape versus tombow versus fuse rages on, so I’m taking adhesive out of the equation today and just leaving you a gorgeous box.

Handbag style boxes are very much in fashion once more, so this is my version. A clutch bag!

I wanted something simple but elegant (thank you Whole Lot of Lovely for delivering that), but equally I wanted it easy to make too. And it so is!

You just need a handful of score lines and a few snips, and done. The most ‘complicated’ part is getting the patterned paper right… but even that’s not hard!

So I hope you like my pretty project today, and that perhaps you’ll make one too?

S x

Cardstock = 8 x 11″ (20 x 28cm)

Score on the LONG side at 3, 4, 7, 8″ (7.5, 10, 17.5, 20cm)

Make a MARK on the LONG side at 10″ (25cm)

Flip cardstock OVER and repeat the MARKS

Score on the LONG side at 1, 7″ (2.5, 17.5cm)

MARK on the SHORT side at 4″ (10cm)

DSP – 5-3/4 x 2-3/4″ (7 x 14.5cm)

I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to get free product! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!) Learn more HERE. If your order is over £150, please do not use this code as You become the hostess and get the Rewards!

  1. […] When I got an email from Pootles paper craft with the details of how to make this box I knew that I had to have a go! I wanted to make my design Chiristmas themed, I am planning on filling it with something nice to give to someone. The red card is from PaperMill Direct, I am a massive fan of their papers if you didnt already know!. The patterned paper and ribbon is from my christmas stash, I think I picked them up at a craft fair a few years ago. The cute little reindeer is part of a stamp set called ‘Seasonal Chums’ from Stampin Up. All the details on how to make this fantasic box are here at […]
