Merry Mistletoe meets Merry Little Christmas

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Merry Mistletoe meets Merry Little Christmas

Oooo I do love a monochromatic Christmas Card! And by that, I mean with-some-silver-as-well-because-it-looks-amazing….

Anyone else like me?

Black and white is lovely and while this paper pack does have Old Olive sheets in it too, I disregarded them for this project and went with the clashing themes of snowflakes and stars and check. Obviously… what self respecting monochrome card doesn’t have checks on it….! I jest! But I love the look of it!

And while the Merry Mistletoe stamp set may have passed you by, you are forgiven, it’s from the Annual Catalogue….

I confess, this is my first time of inking. I wish I’d found it sooner, as it’s just glorious as a solid silver silhouette. Oh well, best make some more then!

My menfolk will love these, those 4 small boys of mine like a card each at Christmas and I love to make them cards to a theme but that reflect them. I may keep this moody black and white one for the teenagers….

Have a super day, if you’re crafting, enjoy, if you’re wrapping gifts, you’re too organised, if you’re like me and realising that the Christmas Decorations go up in 3 days time, you’re in meltdown!

S xx

  1. There’s something absolutely classic about black and white. The addition of silver is a surprising touch. You’ve demonstrated the fun side of it with this card. It makes me smile. Great job Sam

  4. Dianne Wallace says:

I was thinking of this color scheme yesterday, but had not thought of this way to pair them. Everything I thought I’d was just too boring. Thank you for all your inspiration. I too am getting in the stress phase at the moment.
Happy Christmas from across the pond. (Texas)
