Happy Birthday Gorgeous in Muted Soft Shades

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Happy Birthday Gorgeous in Muted Soft Shades

Hand’s up who has a birthday in December, or within that festive Christmas/New Year period?

I personally don’t, but I’m very aware that there are lots of people who do. One of my sons has a friend who’s birthday is Boxing Day (26th December to those who don’t have a ‘boxing day’ in their country) and that poor young man never gets to see his friends on his actual birthday – they’re all with their families celebrating their own festivities.

I would suspect that there aren’t really that many more birthdays in December than there are in other months, but I guess we are more aware of it because it’s a sort of ‘clash of events’ in December more than any other month (I share the month of March with a lot of my team including my actual birthday), but it’s a funny old month if you’re having a birthday and celebrating Christmas too.

So today I have a card just for you. No, it doesn’t say ‘happy birthday’ on it, but I wanted it to be very clear that this is Your Day, whenever you’re celebrating your birthday in the festive season.

I went for softer colours, actually this is one of my favourite trios of colour, if I’m crafting something for myself. Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand. They just work so well don’t they?

So with my best wishes to you whenever you’re celebrating, this card is to you. for Your Day.
