SpringWatch 2018 Petal Passion Mother’s Flair Customer Thank You Cards

Stampin’ Up! #1 Demonstrator Pootles – SpringWatch 2018 Petal Passion Mother’s Flair Customer Thank You Cards

SpringWatch Giveaway for today – PETAL PASSION DESIGNER SERIES PAPER – details on how to enter at the bottom

How pretty are all these cards!

These went in the post last week, along with yesterday’s Lollipop Gifts and also Hostess Code products too.

I get endless pleasure from making gifts and cards for everyone who comes shopping with me, and I love to share the ‘how to’ of them.

Because there are so many that I make, around 180-200 of each, every month, I like to make them beautiful but easy and I work very deliberately with my measurements. Not necessarily to be ‘frugal’ with my supplies, I will happily use them with relish and without cost in mind, but I like to work efficiently with my paper and cardstock.

I used Notecards for this month’s cards, and they measure up on the front at 5 x 3.5″ (12.5 x 9cm) so getting the DSP layer right, and so I cut cut quickly and efficiently was my first step.

You’ll see in the video how I cut the DSP so that I could get maximum layers out of a single sheet and the same for the cardstock that I stamped on.

Efficiency is most important to me and I was most productive on these. Not least because I did all my cutting and stamping in one session, but I then took the boys to the Trampoline Park for a couple of hours one Sunday afternoon and did all the sticking then too! I got some curious looks from other mothers around me!

I hope you like these and that everyone who’s received one does too!

  31. Love the efficiency of it, beautiful cards. Thanks for showing how you cut it for the least waste and quickest results. There are a lot of people who just don’t have the ability to do this and this is a huge help for them. Some of my crafting friends don’t understand how to figure out the most efficient way to do things, they marvel when I can tell them how to do it the fastest and easiest way.
