Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – A Rainbow Jar of Dragonfly Love
Oh how pretty is this card?
Rainbows of dragonflies make my day! Our garden was full of them over the summer last year and it made me smile when they were lazily flying around. One took a liking to my Mum’s trousers one afternoon and just sat there for ages!
I kind of feel that my card is a bit like Spring is on the way, so we can release all the new insects and flowers into the world. Because as you know, Fairies deliver each season to us… just watch the Tinkerbell movie.
I didn’t do much to my dragonflies, other than colour each with a dab of my Blender Pen into the ink, though I did use all 10 of the colours in the Brights Collection. You could use markers for this, but I wanted them to have paler wings, and the blender pen meant I could get the lovely graduated colour.
I hope you have a lovely day today, I’m finishing off prep work for our big team Celebration Afternoon tomorrow, so it’s all hands on deck!
