Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Repetitive Stamping with a Jar of Love and Dragonflies
I absolutely adored using the Jar of Love stamp set on Thursday’s card and knew that I wanted to use it again for my repetitive stamping addiction. Yes, I love this technique and am determined to use it regularly. You really can’t go wrong with it as there’s no error to be seen. If you do blob or splodge, you just go over it again!
The pinks I’ve used are Sweet Sugarplum which I stamped off all over the card, then I splodged in the larger flowers in Blushing Bride, with Melon Mambo over the top of them and then a few other flower centres dotted around and stamped off. I did ponder bringing in another pink, but decided these were enough.
I’m not sure how well you can see it, but the dragonfly bodies and the centre of the largest flowers are all shimmered up with Wink of Stella. Just enough to catch the light.
I considered using a sentiment, but like the coffee bean card of a few weeks ago, I decided that black dragonflies were enough. There doesn’t always have to be a reason for a card, you know that I’m a champion for that, so this is one of those Just Because cards. Perhaps we should make that some kind of theme this year?
