#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Dandelion Wishes Customer Thank You Cards
Ok it’s Saturday, hopefully the sun is shining and there may well be some dandelion clocks floating on the wind. But I have to confess, the second I saw this set in the catalogue, way back at the start of April at OnStage, I fell in love. And I knew exactly how I wanted to use it and for whom. And that’s all those amazing people who shop with me.
Because I make literally a couple of hundred cards each month for my customers, aswell as the same number of gifts, I like to keep one or other simple and the other to have full on impact. You saw yesterdays video of the treat pouches and the intricate nature of that project, so this felt like the perfect balance to it. Simple yet stunning and impactful.
But how did I choose my colours? Well, I wanted strong and vibrant and while the stamping was simple, I knew I wanted embellishments on there and decided to go with the new set of Glitter Enamel Dots.
They have 4 strong colours to them, so that’s where I started for my card bases. To be honest, I was undecided between Early Espresso and Soft Suede for my mats, so ended up with half and half.
Then when you add in 2 different styles of stamp, I ended up with 16 different cards as you can see below. And then I just multiplied them all until I got to the 200 I needed!
Aren’t the colours brilliant? Which combination is your favourite?
