My 2 year old son Oliver is addicted to magnets. The endless appeal of moving them from freezer to radiator and back again, stopping for a while to line them up on the radiator in varying patterns.
I do have some bottle cap magnets, but they haven’t been altered in any fashion, and as soon as I saw the ‘craze’ for flattening the Stampin’ Up! soda pop tops in the Big Shot die cutting machine, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with mine.
It could only be a special set of magnets just for him!
So, I flattened 8 of the large soda pop tops and used a lovely stamp set and markers to create a bespoke collection just for him.
And because I’ve been asked this quite a few times, the miniature magnets are Neodymium magnets and are 8mm in diameter by 0.75mm in depth. Ebay will be your friend here, and a seller called MagnetsMagnetsMagnets. And yes, he sells worldwide!
