I love to craft, purely for the fun of it. Mostly I’m creating with someone in mind, and often in my videos, it’s a project I’ve either designed for someone specifically, or it’s for an event.
With a rapidly growing business and team, it’s sometimes hard to stop and take time to just craft for me, but a few nights ago, I sat and created with only myself in mind!
I wanted a new notebook. I use them a lot. I’m a big list writer, goal setter, planner, and as such, have notebooks on the go everywhere. And I wanted a new one to put my long term goals into, so I felt this sentiment was just right.
And also, because I don’t want this to be a hugely noticeable notebook (?!) and remain semi private, but without being hidden away, I kept to soft muted colours of neutrals and beiges.
But there had to be a little pocket in there too. Not just to hide the join of the ribbon, but to tuck things into. Inspirational quotes, or things I’ve torn out of books. Kind of a mini journal perhaps?
