Big box this week! For an enormously large bar of soap! I’m used to designing boxes for soaps that are 2x3x1 inch or at largest, 3x3x1, but I was asked to create a box, with breathing holes, for a lovely soap maker in the US. Julie Dyer makes soaps and sells them through her website Soapy Bar. And this is a big old bar of soap! It measures 4.5 x 3.75 x 1.25 inches! Wow! Lucky girls in the US to be able to get hold of one of these!
So, I decided to combine a couple of boxes I’ve made before. The Easy Stick Treat Pouch and the original Candle Lantern Box. And this is what I came up with!
I love the Naturals White and Ivory cardstocks, and I’m really loving the new Blushing Bride and Smoky Slate colours, but because Julie is a soaper, and because our Venetian Romance really lends its designs well to the soap market, I had to use the Peacock Swirl design here.
