I loved the Tea for Two DSP that was in the Spring Summer catalogue, and was so delighted to find out it was moving into the new annual catalogue, but with a colour overhaul, that I just had to leap on it at the first available opportunity.
And while this is a simple design from the papers, mixing it up with a little of the gingham from the Kind and Cosy stamp set really makes it scrummy and yummy.
Now, you may be wondering how I’ve got that pale spongy sort of look to the background circles. Well, when your stamp set arrives, assuming it’s a clear one, the gingham circle has an extra plain circle of rubber in the middle that you’re meant to discard. Not me though!
I simply inked it up and stamped down on to some scrap paper, then onto some Whisper White cardstock to get this effect!
Kinda sweet right?
And while I’m a fan of double layering stampin’ dimensionals, with this card, I triple layered some to get this properly lifted design.
I hope you like it!
