I love post it notes. They’re possibly the second most useful thing in my office. After my PC that is… and perhaps my trimmer, and maybe my scoring tool? Okay, they’re the best bit of stationery I have.
But, they’re so ugly! So yellow. So there. So blooming obvious!
And you know me, if it remains stationary (ha, did you see what I did there?) I will stamp it, wrap it, colour it, or repurpose it in some way.
These have always been my biggest sellers, and they’re possibly one of the easiest things to make.
Simply take a piece of cardstock that measures 8×3.5″ and score it at 2, 2 3/8, 5 1/2 and 5 7/8 inches (9x20cm and score at 5,6,14 and 15cm) and then decorate as you like!
I’ve used So Saffron cardstock and ink on one project and Melon Mambo Cardstock and Ink on the other, with some gorgeous Gingham Garden designer series paper, flipped in these two projects, and decorated with the Six-Sided Sampler Stamp Set (okay…. ssssss!) and the hexagon punch, and embellished with rhinestones on the Melon Mambo post it note holder, and tiny so Saffron buttons on the other. And of course, the neodymium magnets, held on with sticky strip, and hidden with a 1/2″ circle punch.
Enjoy the video!
