So today is party day for Luke. It’s always a difficult time of year, with it being the summer holidays here, so we always have to invite twice as many children as our house will accomodate, and hope that half of them make it. It’s a bit of a shame really, he always misses out.
Anyway, this year, he wanted to design the party invitations, and after perusing my stamp sets for a while, he went for ‘Oh Hello’ and ‘Zoo Babies’ stamp sets.
He designed the colours, layout and as he and my eldest sons are fans of my videos, he wanted ‘that fluffy spongy edge thing please Mum’…
And he made all of them. From stamping to sponging, punching and sticking. I only filled in the details inside!
I think he came up with a rather lovely card! Not bad for a crafting novice! Jack has the art gene from me, he’s registered as Gifted. Luke’s also registered as Gifted, but in literacy and numeracy, so creativity is a little bit of a struggle for him. We all loved this though!
So, the products that Luke chose are –
Cardstock – Real Red and Whisper White
Inks – Real Red and Basic Black
Stamp Sets – Oh Hello and Zoo Babies
Punches – Decorative Label Punch, 1 1/4″ circle, 1 3/8″ circle
Other products used – Snail adhesive, Stampin Dimensionals, Sponges
Stampin’ Up! UK Independent Demonstrator
