Okay, so who doesn’t love a multifunctional box?
I love them! And I love it when I’m designing a box, and find that actually, it works for more than the original purpose in mind.
Originally, I wanted to create a box that would hold a number of lipsticks and look pretty on my dressing table. I don’t know if you’re anything like me, but my makeup drawer is a mishmash of all sorts. It has some sort of semblance, but my lipsticks just sort of float about in there.
So it was with that in mind that I decided to create my own storage for them.
But by happy accident, as I finished the box, I wondered, just for a moment, if my ink pad reinkers would fit.
And they did! Yay!
Multifunctional storage!

I am working on a design that will hold all 48 of our reinkers, but please bear with me on that, I’m currently sporting a sore mouth and jaw post operation earlier this week, and it’s keeping me from my desk, but it will be with you soon!
But for now, this box uses a very small amount of cardstock, just 6 x 12 inches in total.
Here’s the detail for you –
