And yes, it’s another birthday in our family. My Mum’s today, and there was no way that Jacob (not-quite-5!) was going to let me buy a card for him and his brothers to give to her from them.
This was his choice of stamp set, his choice of colours and most definitely his choice of Dahlia on the card. I actually gave him his own watermark on that picture…!
So he helped very much with this, he pressed the stamp down, it’s quite large, so wouldn’t have been able to hold the block properly, but all I did was ink it up and place it, then let him press down. For a big stamp and small hand combination, I think he did really really well.
And while this may be the simple style card that I’m more known for, this is all Jacob. He’s the artist behind this card!
Oops, I nearly forgot, he did the punching too, and the mounting of the sentiment. Pretty good job huh?
