Well, this is the first time I’ve used our new notecards and envelopes, and I love them! Same Whisper White as our cardstock, same fabulous stamp-on-and-no-smudge finish, different weight!
It’s thicker and sturdier than our Whisper White, already cut and scored, and doesn’t need layer upon layer to make it strong. The notecards are slightly smaller than regular C6 cards, but they’re an ideal size for sending, well, a note!
I love the beautiful elegance of the Creatively Yours Stamp set, and this gorgeous flourish needs little else adding to it.
However, you perhaps can’t see in the photos, though I’ve tried my best, this is stamped in Elegant Eggplant; that rich, deep, luxurious purple that just seems to ooze sophistication. And to me, it walks beautifully alongside Pistachio Pudding. The two just meld together and work beautifully.
After punching the flowers with the Itty Bitty Punch pack, I simply added some pearls in various sizes, punched using my ever faithful Word Window and Modern Label punches. Popped on some dimensionals and layered it over some Pistachio Pudding Cardstock.
I think it’s lovely, and with the sentiment, a great card to send to someone who may need a little lift.
I hope you like it too, and I’d love to hear of the colour combinations you may recreate this in.
