Well, as a complete and almost extreme opposite to my recent cards, this one is quite a ‘busy’ little thing!
I wanted to use and showcase the En Francais stamp, but by using it to not only create a background, but also make it the focus of the card itself.
It is such an elegant stamp, and is suggested as a ‘background’ stamp, but why should it be tucked away? Bring it out and glory in it I say!
So, that was my thinking when I started randomly stamping colours onto cardstock.
The colours are where it’s at with this, so in layer order, here goes –
Main Area
Soft Suede Card Blank
Very Vanilla Cardstock
Cajun Craze Cardstock
Crumb Cake Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock
Smaller layer
Soft Suede Cardtock
Very Vanilla Cardstock
Cajun Craze Cardstock
Soft Suede Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock
Butterflies
Soft Suede and Cajun Craze with the matching inks and Candy Dots over.
All about the layers, and showcasing a glorious stamp!
I hope you like this, and as ever, what colours would you use?
