Well, there’s only 14 days left to get hold of the butterfly bundle, and if you don’t know what it is, I’ll explain!
You can buy the stunning Papillon Pot Pourri Stamp Set and the matching Bitty Butterfly punch as a bundle and get 15% off!
So, if you wanted the wood mount set, you would pay just £26.52 or if you wanted the clear mount set, then only £23.97.
But I wanted to pop up a quick card to show the butterflies in action.
Each butterfly has been stamped once using each of the blue inks that we have – Pacific Point, Island Indigo, Marina Mist, Tempting Turquoise, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Soft Sky, Midnight Muse and Night of Navy.
Simply mounted using mini glue dots, I’ve scattered them across the page, and then added some rhinestone crystals onto each. But of course, such a pretty card, you can only Smile, so I added the sentiment from the Fabulous Phrases set and punched it using the bigger Elegant Butterfly Punch and sponged the edges.
Sometimes a card can be simple and effective in one fell swoop!
My parents have a pear tree in their garden, and sometimes the windfall pears don’t get scooped up by their dog fast enough. In the hot sunshine, they sort of ferment a little, but still are apparently and appealing drink for a butterfly. There has never been a funnier site than a dozen butterflies drunkenly dozing on their decking, clearly a little worse the wear for alcoholic pears…
Anyway, back to today’s question, I’ve used all the blues from our collection here, but if you could choose just one colour to put onto a card, but the various shades of it as well, which would it be?
