Sometimes I like to just rummage through my DSPs and grab one without having a clue what I’m going to do with it. A box may be designed around it, or sometimes a pouch, but in this case, a card came about.
I liked the circular design of it, and at first I thought of layering nesting circular punches, but decided that Old Olive buttons and linen thread were the better route.
That little collection at the bottom of the card is enough I think. Well, that and the triple layered sentiment with the background of the Pool Party and Old Olive cardstock layers! I love the Word Window Punch, it has amazing versatility, and this shadow layering is a great way to make use of a single punch and get it to ‘pop’ out a little more.
So, a simple card, showing off a paper that I overlooked initially, but enhanced with a little embellishment.
I hope you like the papers, and how I’ve decorated it!
My question of the day today is….Which is your favourite paper from Stampin’ Up? (and if you haven’t got any, what are you waiting for? My shop is open!)
