This week just gone, I had a full on craft day one day, and just sat and chopped bits of Modern Medley Designer Series Paper, Very Vanilla Cardstock and mucked about with my embossing folders and my Big Shot.
I only half knew what I was going to put onto each card, but this one, well, it had to be Polka Dot Pieces really!
Some might say that it’s a bit too spotty, but unlike chicken pox, you can never have too many spots when you’re adding a flash of colour. Right?
So I decided to mix this one up with Pear Pizzazz ink and the matching Taffeta Ribbon. But then, I have a slight confession to make. I hadn’t planned to put the Candy Dots on this card, but I had a slight stazon cleaner sprinkle issue when I was cleaning the smaller of the stamps, and a bit splattered up into the corner.
Now I’m sure, if I’d kept quiet, you wouldn’t have known, but I do believe in sharing where there are errors, and passing on my tips to cover.
What do you think? Did it work?
So as a little run through of the products I used, here goes – Basic Black card blank, Modern Medley dsp panel, Very Vanilla Cardstock embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Pear Pizzazz taffeta ribbon, Polka Dot Pieces stamp set, Pear Pizzazz ink, Black Stazon ink, Pear Pizzazz candy dots and a Basic Black candy dot
Do you like the spotty look? Too much? Too little? Just right?
