Stampin’ Up! UK Big Shot, The Showcase
I’ve had this video in ‘storage’ for a fair few weeks now, waiting for the right time to publicise it. One of my downline wanted to see a few of the things it could do, so I promised her a video.
She and the rest of my team have all had access to it, but today is the first day I’m making it public.
I love my big shot. I don’t think I could do without it now. It gives cards and papercrafting a brand new level, it makes life easier when you want to mass produce the same shape over and over again, but it’s a shape that doesn’t come in ‘punch’ format.
I love that I can cut really thick materials, and fabric, and I love that I feel a bit ‘tough’ when I tell my husband that “I’m getting out the Big Shot tonight, okay” and he kind of looks at me a bit warily (we won’t tell him, okay?!)
I would say that this is possibly my best papercraft investment to date. I’ve had electronic die cutting machines in the past, and a considerably expensive book binding machine. Neither lasted particularly long here; they were large, complicated to use, it wasn’t a ‘quick craft’ in any way shape or form.
I’m fully aware that other stores sell versions of the Big Shot, and having now completed some market research, ours is remarkably good value (not least the low shipping cost of £4.95 for what is a heavy piece of kit!), but where else would you get your own customer services agent (me!) to answer any and all of your queries. A person who happens to have over a decade of crafting experience, and knows and loves the Big Shot inside out. That’s got to be priceless, right?
And there are loads of ways to buy our Big Shot at an even better price point. Consider joining Stampin’ Up! and my team, and you can buy the Big Shot, some dies, and get an extra £31 of products for free, AND free shipping. You and your friends could get together and have a workshop and get hostess benefits that mean you can buy it half price. You may have already been thinking of joining my team, and have a list ready to buy other products, but you could still buy this at a further 20% discount, and get the added bonus of me on hand in our private facebook group to answer questions (which was exactly how this video came about, from a request from my own team)
But the Big Shot? Well, I’ve had a Big Shot for years. Years and years and years and years (a long time…!)
And I love it. I love the dies that come with it, I love the embossing folder. I particularly adore the BigZ dies (the ones that you can cut coasterboard, fabric, felt etc with), and although sewing isn’t my thing, I love that one of my girls is now thinking of making a quilt and using the Big Shot to cut her pieces!
So anyway, here is my video (CLICKY CLICKY!), I could have happily gone on for hours, but I kept it to a reasonable 16 minutes…
Oh, and pictures! Can’t not let you have a little gallery of the projects I’ve made with mine (they’re down at the bottom!)!
