Stampin’ Up! UK Silver Embossed Mixed Bunch
Oooo, I love a spot of Heat Embossing! It just adds that extra dimension to a card, that would probably be just as beautiful without it, but now has that sneaky little something extra that makes it a little more special.
This card was so so simple to make. I made a card blank of Pink Pirouette, added a mat of Brushed Silver Cardstock (overlooked by many I think, but look again, it’s beautiful!), then another layer of Pink Pirouette.
However, I’d random stamped the Mixed Bunch stamp all over with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it using Clear Embossing Powder.
And the gorgeous flower in the corner? 2 Mixed Bunches were stamped and heat embossed using the Pewter Embossing Powder, then punched out using the Blossom Punch and offset layered over on another (after curly the top one slightly!)
It had to be finished with a bit of extra loveliness though, so I went to my Stack and Store caddy carousel and pulled out the new Frosted Finished Embellishments and popped one in the centre.
I love how this card came out. Ridiculously simple, it took mere minutes to make, and looks just divine. Not too blingy, not too shiny, just effortlessly elegant!
Do you like heat embossing? I’m teaching a class this Monday on heat embossing, and can’t wait to experiment!
