I’m still not convinced that I can ‘do’ the whole vintage thing. So, I’m going to declare this card as a non-vintage vintage card.
Let’s just call it ‘pink on pink with a sponged up edge’ and leave it at that.
I really want to successfully do vintage. But I have to say, it’s actually not really my personal style. I don’t have ‘aged’ things in my house, not that it’s super modern, but anything older than about 10 years is unlikely to make it over my threshold. Well, apart from me that is.
But i really really love this stamp set, and I really really wanted to work with pink (something else I don’t do very well!) so this is what I came up with.
I think my Mum might appreciate it. She and Dad are home from holiday tomorrow. I may take it to her, as I’ve really missed her the last few weeks. And she is my ‘Cup of Tea’!
And the products I’ve used? Blushing Bride Cardstock and Ink, Whisper White Cardstock, Ovals Framelits, Blushing Bride Chevron Ribbon and the Tea Party stamp set.
So come on, what’s your opinion. I trust you guys, I’ve asked for thoughts before, and I genuinely do like to hear opinion.
