Stampin’ Up! UK Bermuda Bay Layered Labels
Oooo ooo, do you do Brights? I kind of always thought I was a non bright kind of girl. Not to say I’m subtle or regal (!) but not bright (oh, lets just not go down that road, okay!)
But I really do love the Bermuda Bay colour that joined the Stampin’ Up! Brights Colour Collection a few months back. I’d never considered if I was a ‘blue’ girl or not either. This really is getting a tad deep, it’s not intended, but you’re probably like me, and probably lean more towards one colour or another. And blue has never been one I’ve erred towards.
However, Bermuda Bay came leaping and dancing straight into the catalogue, shouting ‘I’m here, love me’ and I sooooo do!
So today, I wanted to just fly the flag for Bermuda Bay. Candy Dots, Cardstock, Paper Stacks, Ribbon and Ink. Too much? No way!
I love this card, definitely one to give to a blue fan, but because I’ve used the Paper Stacks rather than a designer series paper, it could be swapped about and changed until you had the perfect colour. I’d go with Basic Black for my husband, Pear Pizzazz or Wisteria Wonder for Mum. Real Red for Jack, Daffodil Delight for Luke, you get my point.
But using the Layered Labels stamp, with the matching Apothecary Accents framelits and a layer of Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon meant that this out-there Bermuda Bay isn’t quite as out there.
Oh who am I kidding. It’s Bermuda Bay and I’m loving it!
