Well, it’s been quite a while since I brought out the big guns. The heavy hitters, the biiiig cards.
And today, well, I’ve brought out a tiny card that’s full of impact.
Bright colours, a single stand out image, and that flash of reflection from the button.
This card is small in stature but BIG on impact!
So this is a super simple card to make, you can mix it up into any colour way you fancy, but I wanted to showcase the Melon Mambo just as a colour. Not as a DSP but it’s all about the inks and card and ribbon.
A simple 3×3 card with the corners rounded off in Melon Mambo Cardstock and the matching Whisper White with its corners rounded off also. A strip of the 1/8″ Melon Mambo Ribbon went around the middle.
After that, I took the ‘sketchy’ type stamp from the Flower Shop stamp set, stamped it twice, once directly onto the white background, then a second time which I punched using the matching Pansy Punch. After that, I simply curled the edges of the uppermost pansy, and stuck it directly onto the ribbon using a couple of mini glue dots.
Initially I wanted to use the Dazzling Details, but I didn’t like the finish, so decided to pop a medium Vintage Faceted Designer Button on instead. If you look closely, you can see a little of the dazzling details peeping through….
And this little card? Quick and simple to make, full on colour and style, and bags of impact!
Now, have you ordered your Flower Shop Bundle yet? The Flower Shop Stamp Set AND the matching Pansy Punch are available for just £28.25 (£31.75 Wood) which is a brilliant saving of 15%.
